 SUMMARY

With 30 years experience in the telecommunications industry my range of experience includes large station installations, splicing 3600 pair copper cables, loose tube and ribbon type fiber optic cables. I have twenty years experience in outside plant construction to include proper MH and duct placement. I also have fifteen years experience in fiber optic design, installation, testing, fusion splicing, and repair. I have extensive experience with inside and outside plant infrastructure as well as termination of station wiring and outside plant cables. My most resent duties include management and quality positions to ensure the above disciplines are done correctly and in a timely manner.

·   Assist site lead on multiple BRAC projects to ensure installation of IT assets go smoothly and on time.  Traveled to multiple Army bases to conduct site surveys and assessments for cost effectiveness and quality of the installation.

BCS (Kuwait Iraq C4 Commercialization), 3/2006 – 11/2006   Supervisor.         

·    Supervised crews up to 16 workers throughout Iraq Theater. Managed different crews for proper installation of fiber and copper infrastructure.

Was responsible for loading, unloading, and conditioning of existing and new cable pairs designed for high-speed data service.

·    DOD contract work at Fort Meade. Installed, tested, maintained, and operated a variety of equipment associated with subscriber premises telephone communications systems. Was responsible for the entire outside cable plant to include new and existing infrastructure.

U.S. Army 1979 – 1981.

·    Completed boot camp and school at Fort Gordon, GA, as a tactical wire operational specialist. Served with the HHC 2nd BDE 3rd ID in Kitzingen, Germany. Honorable discharge in 1981 with a specialist four rank.
